Working for the agency Identity, I produced both the studio based, virtual G7 Summit, held before the live event where I was IPTV producer. Virtual events were new to political world leaders so my role required delicate, tactful directing so they would relax sufficiently to negotiate successfully. I drew on all my show-calling expertise to fine-tune tight schedules to meet the demands of the global press and the UK Government: a small cog in a large machine.
